Scope of Work

The requirement is for a lease agreement including one (1) primary and one (1) identical back-up fully automated coagulation analyzer system. Key specifications for the analyzers include:

  • Automation: Fully automated sample processing with random and STAT access, on-board dilutions.
  • Test Menu: Must perform PT/INR, aPTT, Fibrinogen, and D-Dimer.
  • Performance: Suitable for mid-volume labs, virtually maintenance-free internal components, throughput up to 100 results/hour (40+ on-board tests).
  • Integration: LIS/MHS Genesis interfacing, customized patient reports, positive patient identification via barcode.
  • Maintenance & Support: Full-risk maintenance (parts, labor, travel), 24/7/365 emergency support (2-hour telephonic/remote, 48-hour on-site), annual operator training, application support, and Authorization to Operate (ATO) acquisition.
  • Supplies: Provision of all necessary reagents, calibrators, quality control materials, and consumables, delivered quarterly with a 10-15% buffer.
  • Installation: Contractor responsible for de-installation of current equipment and installation/setup of new equipment.
  • Physical/Electrical: Analyzers must fit within a 213 cm x 88 cm space and operate at 220V.
  • Quality Assurance: Enrollment in a recognized External Quality Assessment (EQA) Program for Hemostasis testing.
