This RFI seeks industry input on modernizing the CCIC2S infrastructure. Responses are due July 20, 2026, at 14:00 Mountain Daylight Time.
Purpose & Scope
This RFI is for market research and planning purposes only; it is not a solicitation. The NCMC-ITW/AA Program Office is evaluating modernization pathways for CCIC2S, a critical system providing continuous missile warning and threat assessment to North America. The goal is to ensure sustained operational relevance and enhanced mission responsiveness.
Industry is asked to provide information on capabilities related to four key levels of effort for CCIC2S modernization:
- Modernization of Operational Architecture
- Modernization for Development Architecture
- Integrated Enhanced Capabilities for warfighter needs (air, missile, space threats, GUI)
- Enhanced Next-Generation Cyber Operations and Capabilities
Additionally, recommendations on acquisition strategies for rapid, multi-tranche capability delivery are sought.
Desired Information
Respondents should address technical risks, critical dependencies, levels of effort (LOEs), integration methodologies, conceptual schedules, programmatic risks, marketplace support, partnerships, financing, intellectual property (IP), data rights, and experience with C2 systems, missile warning, and tactical surveillance. Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates are also requested.
Submission Details
- Response Due: July 20, 2026, 14:00 Mountain Daylight Time.
- Format: CUI responses limited to 30 pages; Classified Secret responses limited to 20 pages. 12pt Times New Roman, 1" margins. Acceptable formats: .docx, .pdf, .xlsx.
- Submission Method: Electronic copies via specified email for unclassified, DoD SAFE for CUI, and SIPR for classified.
- Access to Controlled/Classified Documents: To provide a complete response, interested parties must request access to Attachment 01 (CUI) and Attachment 02 (Classified Secret). This requires providing company information (Name, Address, POCs, CAGE, FCL) and a verified DD Form 2345. This RFI does not commit the Government to a contract, nor will it reimburse costs incurred by respondents. An Industry Day and optional one-on-one sessions are scheduled for the week of August 17, 2026.
