Statement of Need

To acquire a Dual Zone Hot Bonder unit to negate repair costs, lessen the burden on current units, and enhance advanced composite repair capabilities and repair times at McConnell AFB.

• Procurement of one (1) 120 VAC Dual Zone Hot Bonder Kit with accessories.

• Required accessories include: Heat Blankets, Thermocouples, Vacuum Hose, and Air Filter.

• Contractors shall not provide any service or product that requires the use of Class I Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) in testing, operation, or maintenance.

• A list of specific Halons, Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), Carbon Tetrachloride, Methyl Chloroform, and Methyl Bromide are identified as Class I ODSs.

• Dual Zone Bonder: 3-year limited time warranty.

• Dual Zone Bonder accessories: 1-year limited time warranty.

• Lead time for the Dual Zone Bonder with accessories is 2-3 weeks After Receipt of Order (ARO).
