Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

• The COR has authority to temporarily close operations during high fire danger or wet ground conditions.

• Location: Conecuh Ranger District, Conecuh National Forest, Covington County, Alabama.

• Contract Time Start: As soon as possible, but no sooner than June 1, 2026.

• Completion Deadline: September 30, 2026.

• Work Commencement: Within 10 calendar days of Notice to Proceed.

• Work Completion: Within 60 calendar days of Notice to Proceed.

• Contractor is responsible for providing all personnel, equipment (minimum 110 horsepower machine with drum-type mulching head), fuel, lubricants, maintenance, repair, lodging, meals, and transportation.

• Government will provide a Forest Service employee during implementation and allow equipment parking within treatment areas.

• Contractor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and Alabama Best Management Practices for Forestry.

• Offerors are urged to inspect the site; no specified site visit will be conducted.

• Upon completion of a unit, the Contractor must notify the COR for inspection and any required remedial work.
