Quick Summary

The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (USCG SFLC) is requesting quotations for cooling system pumps and industrial fluid coolers for its 87-foot Sentinel-class Fast Response Cutters (SSDG) and Patrol Boats (WPB). This opportunity is a Total Small Business Set-Aside and will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract awarded on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA), all-or-none basis. Quotations are due by June 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time.

Scope of Work

The requirement includes two distinct items:

  • Item 1: Sixteen (16) each of Sea Water Pumps (NSN: 2930-01-702-4240, John Deere PN: DZ116559) used on the 87 SSDG.

Offerors must provide Brand Name parts (John Deere Construction) or "equal" products that meet specified salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics, subject to USCG approval.

Packaging and Marking Requirements

Standard commercial packaging is unacceptable. All items must be individually preserved and packaged in strict accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1E Method 10, utilizing specific ASTM-D5118 heavy-duty double-wall fiberboard boxes for Item 1, and ASTM-D6251 Type III, Class 1 wood-cleated panel-board boxes, ASTM-D6880 Class 2 wooden boxes, or ASTM-D5118 fiberboard boxes for Item 2. Proper cushioning and securing are required to prevent damage. Marking must comply with MIL-STD-129R, including barcoding per ISO/IEC-16388-2007, Code 39 Symbology. Failure to meet these requirements will result in rejection and delayed payment.
