Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the requirements for Cooling Tower Condenser Pump Repair service at 4091 Kinley Ave, Building 1733, Nellis AFB, NV.

• The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and certified personnel to perform the removal, inspection, and attempt corrective repair of a seized Condenser Pump 2 and motor assembly.

• If the equipment is deemed repairable, the Contractor shall execute the repair and return the system to full operational status.

• If the pump or motor assembly is beyond economical repair, the Contractor shall halt repair actions and submit a follow-on quote for Government approval prior to proceeding with replacement.

• Specific tasks include site prep & safety, proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, removal of the seized pump and motor assembly, inspection and diagnostics, bearing replacement labor, provision of necessary replacement materials (bearings, gaskets, seals, consumables, hardware), reinstallation, precise system alignment, and operational testing.

• The period of performance is to be determined upon contract award and coordination with the facility manager.

• The work will be performed at 445 TS/EWJX Facilities, Nellis AFB, NV.

• Warranty: All work and parts shall be covered by a one-year warranty.

• Hours of Operation: Services primarily between 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday thru Friday, excluding Federal holidays. Extended hours require Government approval.

• Contract Personnel: Must be US Citizens with REAL ID for access to Nellis AFB. Must have current and valid professional certifications and licenses. Consumption of alcohol/illegal drugs is forbidden. Personnel must present a neat appearance and wear distinctive clothing or badges identifying the company.

• Site Access: Contractor shall coordinate site access and provide a completed Site-Support Visit Request for all personnel no later than seven (7) working days prior to the installation date. This includes names, SSN, Driver's License, citizenship, dates of visit, purpose, etc.

• Government Furnished Property/Services: Access to secure areas, escort/security monitoring, staging areas, emergency medical services (at contractor's expense for non-beneficiaries), electricity, water, and sewage will be provided by the Government. No Government Furnished Materials are specified.

• Safety: Contractor is responsible for ensuring employees understand OSHA requirements, furnishing personal safety equipment, and complying with all applicable environmental and safety regulations. Mishap reporting is required.

• Security: Contractor must comply with base security regulations, force protection conditions (FPCON), and health protection conditions (HPCON). Employees require base passes. Suspicious activity must be reported. Contractor employees are prohibited from possessing weapons, firearms, or ammunition on base. OPSEC training is required within 30 days of initiating work.

• Insurance: Contractor shall obtain necessary insurance as required by FAR part 28.3.

• Inclement Weather: If the base closes due to inclement weather, the contractor will be released without contract price decrement.
