Scope of Work

The contract requires comprehensive monthly chemical treatments to maintain critical water parameters (pH, hardness, alkalinity, conductivity) and prevent microbial activity, corrosion, scaling, and fouling in four cooling tower systems. Key tasks include:

  • Initial onsite water testing and provision/maintenance of necessary chemicals.
  • Minimum one service call per month, including application of scale/corrosion retardants and biocides.
  • Checking, cleaning, and calibrating chemical control and feed equipment.
  • Furnishing and applying corrosion inhibitor to closed loops (excluding cleaning/flushing or retreating due to leaks).
  • Submitting written reports, providing laboratory analysis, and technical expertise.
  • Cleaning and refilling chemical tanks, maintaining pumps, inspecting towers, and cleaning Y strainers.
  • Maintaining conductivity and pH control equipment, and replacing filters.
  • Providing access to online service reporting, data trending, and operator logs.
  • Guaranteeing the present operating efficiency of the cooling tower systems and performing annual scale cleaning.

Evaluation & Requirements

Award will be made on a Lowest-Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. Offerors must acknowledge all amendments and complete required FAR clauses, including 52.204-24 and 52.204-26, regarding telecommunications and video surveillance equipment/services. Cybersecurity requirements are considered "Medium to Low," requiring compliance with DFARS 252.204-7012 and applicable FAR/DFARS provisions.
