Scope of Work

The contractor will manage and oversee the AED program, including:

  • Project Management: Annual meetings with the Emergency Management Specialist to review plans and establish communication.
  • AED Program Management: Coordinate with DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services (FEMS), provide medical oversight by a DC-licensed physician, conduct quarterly inspections of approximately 40 AED devices, maintain an updated inventory of AEDs and components, and provide periodic maintenance and unscheduled technical support.
  • Training: Deliver annual CPR, AED, and Stop the Bleed (STB) certification training for a minimum of 30 CRM personnel, adhering to D.C. Code and American College of Surgeons requirements. Maintain records of certified personnel.

Deliverables

Contract Details
