  • Providing and installing heavy-duty knotted polyethylene netting (e.g., Bird B Gone - Bird Net 2000™ or Bird-X Premium HDPE Bird Netting, or equivalent) with a 10-year life expectancy.
  • Installing at least 10 new cable spans, 3/32" diameter straining cable wire, turn buckles, and 3 cable anchors per span, utilizing the existing structurally adequate anchoring system.
  • Securing netting around a 2" galvanized pipe to prevent bird crawling.
  • Complying with federal, state, and local regulations, including Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA), UBC, NFPA, UFAS, and VA specifications.
  • Protecting government property, obtaining all required permits, and adhering to facility security policies.
  • Providing a safety plan for VA review and documentation for proposed equipment/materials.
  • Ensuring contractor personnel have current FLU and TB vaccinations.
  • Providing a one-year performance agreement labor and material warranty.
  • Cleaning up and disposing of all materials and debris.
