Sole Source Justification
Rolls-Royce Corp is identified as uniquely qualified due to being the original designer and prime manufacturer. They possess the exclusive technical data, drawings, specifications, design intent information, and most recent design changes essential for fulfilling government requirements and preventing undesirable interactions between existing and redesigned hardware. RR also has immediate access to specialized tooling, equipment, test facilities, and sub-vendors necessary for verifying, designing, and testing new engineering solutions. All privately developed data, materials, and design processes are the sole property of RR.
