Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for the construction and supply of wooden SPI shipping containers, wooden sheet metal pallets, and pallet lids. Key requirements include:
- Providing supplies according to exact specifications and drawings (Air Force SPI revisions for containers, DLA revisions for pallets/lids).
- Compliance with Military Preservation Method MIL-STD-2073.
- Packaging materials meeting product qualification requirements and best commercial practices (ASTM 3951).
- Ensuring all shipments include proper documentation, such as a commercial packing list, and clearly marked contract/purchase order numbers.
