This acquisition is being conducted on a sole source basis with Peraton Corporation under the authority of RFO 6.103-1 (Only One Responsible Source) and 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1). Peraton is identified as the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the OS/COMET software, possessing proprietary rights to its design and source code. A previous sources sought notice (FA255026QXXXXX) received no responses, confirming the absence of other sources or authorized resellers.
