Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This document outlines the technical specifications and requirements for a desktop X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) system to be provided to the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC).

• Provide a new, not refurbished, Bowman P-Series XRF System.

• Include an operating manual.

• System must have a high flux silicon drift detector (SDD) with a minimum 190eV resolution.

• Ability to accurately detect elements Al – Ur.

• 50 W (50kV and 1mA) micro-focused W anode tube.

• Programmable X-Y stage.

• Installation and calibration to be completed by a Bowman technician.

• X-Y stage minimum size: 13”x15".

• Minimum of four round collimators: 4, 8, 12, and 24 mil.

• Z distance capable of measuring sample sizes of 5.5".

• Focal distance between 0.25 – 2.5".

• CMOS 1280x720 VGA camera.

• 150W, 100-240 volt, 47Hz to 63Hz power supply.

• Minimum 1-year warranty on all parts and labor.

• Minimum 1 day of training on equipment and software interface for 5 personnel.

• Bowman Archer software with appropriate licensing.

• Desktop workstation meeting specific requirements (Intel Core i5 9th gen processor, 16GB RAM, SSD, 24" monitor, Windows 11 Pro 64bit).

• Must be a drop-in replacement for the current desktop XRF system, compatible with custom software programs.

• No required upgrades or accessories specified.

• Delivery: 8-10 weeks from the date of award.

• Place of Performance: Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC), 300 North James Road, Bldg. 17-3, Columbus, OH 43213-1152.

• Warranty: Minimum one-year on all components from the date of installation.

• All shipping costs are to be included in the contracted price.

• Contractor shall notify William Myers of delivery and set-up dates.

• Contractor will schedule training with William Myers.

• Payment via Defense Finance and Accounting Service through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).

• Invoices to be submitted within 10 workdays after the conclusion of training/work performed.
