Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide a Device Service Plan for a Vitros 4600 clinical chemistry analyzer manufactured by QuidelOrtho.

• Provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary for the service plan.

• Perform work in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, codes, OEM technical specifications, and OEM guidelines.

• Maintain the instrument's FDA certification throughout the period of performance.

• Use only new OEM parts and new OEM approved consumables.

• Perform periodic maintenance as indicated by the equipment service manual, including annual maintenance kits, consumables, and other required parts.

• Install Health and Safety related Modification Kits.

• Respond to repair requests to maintain FDA certification within five business days.

• The government will establish a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) to evaluate performance.

• Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) for technical requirements and tasks is 100%.

• One-year base period plus four one-year option periods.

• Service is on-site at the USDA Facility, NEA FOOD COMPONENTS AND HEALTH LABORATORY, 10300 BALTIMORE AVENUE, BLDG 307B, RM 231, BARC-EAST, BELTSVILLE MD 20705.

• All work is Firm Fixed Price (FFP).

• Contractor shall provide a repair service technician(s) authorized by the OEM.

• Documentation of technician authorization may be requested.

• All contractor personnel shall be in the presence of a USDA escort while on location.

• Contractor employee access to USDA network systems must be supervised by a USDA escort.

• Invoicing and payment will be processed through the Department of Treasury's Invoice Processing Platform (IPP).
