Sources Sought Notice / Request for Information (RFI)

This RFI is issued by the G.V. Sonny Montgomery VA Medical Center (GVSMVAMC) in Jackson, MS, to identify potential sources for a "Police Administration Building 42/46 Security System" and "Facility Management Network Service." The information gathered will help define the procurement strategy for a future solicitation. This is NOT a solicitation, and no contract will be awarded based on this RFI. Responses are voluntary and will not be compensated.

• Scope: Provide licensing, service, and support for a non-OIT facility management network. This includes:

  • Internet Service (CSPIRE & AT&T Fiber) at Main Hospital, Dental Clinic, and Pearl Facilities.
  • Facilities Networks management & support.
  • Uplevel UG101A Gateway, Advanced Firewall, and VPN licenses.
  • Fusion Software Support Renewal.
  • Cisco Meraki Switches and licenses.
  • Microsoft 365 Apps for business.
  • Cambium WIFI Access Points.

• Support Services: Monitoring connectivity, bandwidth, uptime, traffic, and APs. Includes 24/7 phone support, Level 2 engineer support, and onsite technical support.

• Emergency Repairs: Contractor must supply parts and labor for emergency repairs to the facility network system.

• Period of Performance: One year, October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027.

• Place of Performance: G.V. Sonny Montgomery VA Medical Center, Jackson, MS.

• Work Hours: Primarily normal business hours (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday), excluding Federal Holidays. Off-hours work requires prior approval.

• Personnel: Must possess knowledge, skills, and abilities for Facility Management Network Service. Technicians must be APC Certified. Key personnel designation required.

• Other Requirements: Identification badges, adherence to parking regulations, compliance with records management laws, and a one-year warranty on equipment/services.

  • Authorized distributor status with OEM parts access (provide evidence).
  • Potential contractor information (POC, address, phone, email, business size, DUNS).
  • Small business concern status (SB, SDVOSB, VOSB, HUBZone, 8A) with NAICS code (provide proof).
  • Availability under Government Wide Agency Contracts (GWAC), GSA Schedules, IDIQ, or BPA (provide contract numbers).

• Pricing: Submit estimated market research pricing.

• The anticipated NAICS code is 517122. The size standard is 1000 employees or dollars.

• Small Business Concerns are encouraged to respond.
