Scope of Work
The contractor will provide corrosion control, surface preparation, and historically accurate exterior painting services for the specified aircraft. Key tasks include photo documentation, power washing, sanding, feathering, corrosion treatment, priming, and applying exterior coatings. Painting must adhere to museum-approved colors, markings, and insignia, as detailed in specific CMI documents for each aircraft. Rollers are required for paint application, and spray guns are prohibited. A one-year warranty against paint flaking, peeling, or chalking is required.

No bonding requirements (bid guarantee, performance, or payment bond) apply.
Contract Details & Evaluation
This FFP contract has a Period of Performance from June 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026, for each aircraft. The acquisition is set aside 100% for Small Business under NAICS code 488190. Evaluation will follow a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) process, assessing technical proposals as "acceptable" or "unacceptable" and selecting the lowest priced technically acceptable offer.
