Statement of Need (SON)

Procurement and delivery of one (1) Brand Name DroneShield Immediate Response Kit (IRK) for the JBSA Security Forces Group.

• The equipment must possess passive RF detection, integrate with current Tactical Awareness Kit (TAK), be easy to use, mobile, and have sufficient detection range for JBSA properties.

• Drone Shield is identified as the sole source for the Initial Response Kit (IRK) due to its unique integration capabilities with TAK via Cursor on Target (CoT) format.

• This product has been tested and approved by AETC and AF/JAOI, Air and International Law Division.

• One (1) DroneShield Immediate Response Kit (IRK), which includes:

  • DroneGun MK4A with RFPATROL MK2 WIDEBAND
  • C2 - Tactical Rugged Tablet
  • C2 - Tactical Software Configuration

• (2 Day) Certified Instructor Training

• The product must be free from defects in materials and workmanship.

• Standard product warranty.

• Delivery and all work will be performed at JBSA-Randolph, TX.

• The contractor is responsible for installation, integration, and training for the security forces group.

• Compliance with DAFMAN 31-102, Paragraph 1.2.8.1.

• Integration with current Tactical Awareness Kit (TAK).

• Brand Name requirement for DroneShield IRK.

• Mandatory registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is required for award eligibility.

• The government reserves the right to cancel this purchase request.
