This solicitation is for the procurement of 40-foot, High Cube Shipping Containers with Side Access Doors. The acquisition is set aside for Small Business.

• Two (2) new or one-trip 40-foot, high cube shipping containers.

• Each container must have one (1) standard double rear end door and four (4) side access doors.

• Containers must be suitable for secure storage and meet ISO standards (ISO 6346, ISO 1496-1).

• Specific construction details include corrosion-resistant corten steel, marine-grade plywood flooring, certified welding, and standard ISO corner castings.

• Exterior paint must be factory or a multi-part epoxy/polyurethane system (min. 4 mils DFT), resistant to corrosion and UV degradation. Interior coating should be non-toxic and easy to clean.

• Minimum of four (4) ventilation ports (two high, two low), screened to prevent insect entry.

• Must have a valid Container Safety Convention (CSC) plate.

• Must be watertight and free from leaks; proof of testing required.

• Offerors must be capable of offloading containers without customer support.

• Deliveries are to be coordinated a minimum of fourteen (14) days in advance and made during normal operating hours (Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays).

• The solicitation incorporates FAR clauses by reference, including those related to System for Award Management, Small Business Set-Aside, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer, and others. DFARS clauses are also incorporated.

This document solicits quotes for two (2) new or one-trip 40-foot, high cube shipping containers with side access doors, to be delivered to Dworshak Dam. The containers must be suitable for secure storage.

• Quantity: Two (2) containers.

• Type: 40-foot, high cube shipping containers.

• Doors: One (1) standard double rear end door and four (4) side access doors (minimum 8 feet opening width).

• Condition: New (manufactured within 12 months) or one-trip (used only once, excellent condition with minimal cosmetic damage).

• Construction: Meet or exceed ISO standards (ISO 6346, ISO 1496-1), constructed of corrosion-resistant corten steel, marine-grade plywood flooring (min. 1-1/8 inch), certified welding, standard ISO corner castings.

• Dimensions: External: 40' L x 8' W x 9' 6" H. Internal: Approx. 39' 5" L x 7' 8" W x 8' 10" H.

• Payload: Minimum 58,000 lbs.

• Cubic Capacity: Minimum 2600 cu ft.

• Ventilation: Minimum of four (4) screened ventilation ports.

• Paint: Original factory or multi-part epoxy/polyurethane (min. 4 mils DFT) exterior; light-colored, non-toxic interior.

• Warranty: Minimum one-year warranty on parts, labor, and workmanship from factory defects. Any manufacturer warranty exceeding one year must prevail. Warranty work includes all fees.

• Submittals (Pre-Award): Offerors must include product information (brochures, cut sheets, options), shop drawings (dimensions, lifting points, weight, door locations, CSC plate, material certificates), and warranty information for technical acceptability.

• Submittals (Post-Award): Contractor must provide photos of containers, and water tightness test results prior to shipping.

• Inspection: Government reserves the right to inspect containers upon delivery and reject non-conforming units. Rejected units must be removed and replaced within 30 days at the contractor's expense.

• Delivery Point: FOB Destination, Dworshak Dam, 1428 Northfork Drive, Ahsahka, ID 83520.

• Delivery Timeframe: Within eight (8) weeks of contract award.

• Delivery Requirements: Ability to offload without customer support. Coordinate deliveries at least 14 days in advance during normal operating hours (Mon-Thu, 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays).

• Include shipping costs in the quoted price for each item.

• Quote shall be valid for thirty (30) days.

• The quote shall include shipment and delivery as a separate item.

• Offerors must specify their proposed side door configuration (single-leaf or double-leaf sets).
