Quick Summary
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for an eDiscovery review platform. This market research aims to gather information on solutions to manage, analyze, and visualize data for investigations. Responses are due by May 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM Eastern.
Purpose & Background
This RFI is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment to award a contract. The DEA currently uses Relativity for eLitigation and Case Management and is experiencing a surge in data generation.

The desired system should support a full DEA ecosystem, including identification, legal holds, data preservation, structured/non-structured data search and analytics, multilingual capabilities, and AI/ML. Key areas of interest include:
- Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) case management systems and customization.
- Reporting, auditing, case, and task management capabilities.
- Data sorting, analytics, and criminal organization network mapping.
- Cloud migration, hybrid approaches, and robust security measures (e.g., FEDRAMP compliance).
- Enterprise solutions for worldwide operations and user-friendly interfaces.
- Ongoing support, maintenance, training, and integration of geospatial/temporal analysis, visualization, and AI.
