Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for:
- Demolition and removal of existing 5-Ton and 3-Ton Arc Furnaces.
- Procurement and installation of one 5-Ton Electric Arc Furnace, with an option for a second.
- Procurement and installation of an optional 5-Ton Argon Oxygen Decarburization (AOD) system.
- Procurement and installation of supporting equipment, including a bag house dust collection system and compressed Air/Argon storage tanks.
- Detailed design engineering, specification development, project management, concrete work, construction services, equipment commissioning, and training.
- Ensuring all equipment is safely operational and meets industry/national standards (e.g., OSHA, ASTM, ASME, ANSI, NFPA, ISO).
- Providing comprehensive documentation as per the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), including installation plans, schematics, maintenance manuals, and environmental compliance data.
