Scope of Work

The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, and facilities to:

• Haul out USCG 47 FT Motor Life Boat 47271 to stable blocking or cradle.
• Remove the port engine.
• Reinstall a repaired or new port engine.
• Launch the vessel. All engine removal/installation must comply with Manufacturer's Instructions and MPC's. The Coast Guard representative will ensure watertight integrity and test propulsion machinery before launch.

Period & Place of Performance

• Location: U.S. Coast Guard Station Noyo River, 19325 South Harbor Drive, Fort Bragg, CA 95437.
• Commencement: Work must commence within 5 days of acceptance.
• Completion: The entire project must be completed, and the vessel ready for use, within 5 working days from the scheduled haul out after contract award.
• Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM, unless otherwise coordinated.

Key Requirements & Conditions

• Vessel Specifications: Hull Length 47’ 11”, Beam 14’ 0”, Hoisting condition 40,000 LBS.
• Drydocking: Haul and launch vessel with 2 straps, securely block according to military specifications.
• Additional Work: If additional work is found after hauling, the contractor must immediately report findings via CFR with a commercial estimate.
• Workmanship: All work must be accomplished with best standard practices by experienced personnel, supervised by experienced personnel, and satisfactory to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
• Permits: Contractor is responsible for obtaining all required permits, licenses, and complying with federal, state, and local laws.
• Cleanup: HAZWASTE, trash, and debris must be removed, leaving the job site clean.
• Inspection: Upon completion, contact the COR for inspection/acceptance.
• Modifications: No oral modifications to the contract are permitted.
