Scope of Work
The requirement stems from failures of existing card readers due to wind and extreme weather conditions. The scope of work may include:
- Design and fabrication of entrance canopy structures.
- Installation of canopies at designated building entrances.
- Integration with existing architectural and structural elements.
- Compliance with applicable safety, building, and environmental standards.
- Documentation and verification of installation for quality assurance.
Contract Details
This is a Sources Sought / Expression of Interest notice. There is no set-aside specified.
- The Davis-Bacon Act applies to contracts exceeding $2,000 for construction, alteration, or repair work at INL.
- Construction work at the INL Site (within the 890-square mile boundary) is subject to the INL Site Stabilization Agreement (SSA). Construction work performed at Idaho Falls facilities is not subject to these agreements.
Submission Requirements
Interested vendors must submit an Expression of Interest including:
- Company name and point of contact.
- Description of relevant canopy design and installation capabilities and experience.
- NAICS codes and business size classification.
