The proposed contract is expected to be a Firm Fixed Price contract, procured below the simplified acquisition threshold. This announcement is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) and no award will be made as a result.

Requested Information

Respondents are asked to provide:

  • Company's capability to perform a contract of this scope and complexity
  • Comments on the draft Purchase Description
  • Answers to six specific questions regarding:
    1. Standard lead time for manufacturing and delivery.
    2. Specific ballistic standards met (e.g., NIJ, UL, STANAG) and certification availability.
    3. Design as OEM replacements or if modifications are required.
    4. Standard warranty period for delamination, optical clarity, and ballistic integrity.
    5. Compliance of raw materials and manufacturing with Buy American Act (BAA) and Trade Agreements Act (TAA).
    6. Examples of past performance supplying similar bullet-resistant vehicle glass to DoD, federal, or law enforcement agencies.
