Quick Summary

The Department of the Air Force is soliciting proposals for ET Metal Powder Sieving Vacuums (Product Service Code: 3443) to support the REACT facility's operations at Tinker AFB, OK. This acquisition is set aside 100% for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract. Offers are due June 11, 2026, at 12:00 PM.

Scope of Work

This opportunity requires the procurement of three (3) powder reclamation systems: one 9053 SSS Sonic Powder Conditioner (ATEX) and two 9053 SSS Sonic Powder Conditioners. These systems are crucial for removing, collecting, and sieving hazardous and reactive metal powders (nickel, cobalt chrome, aluminum) generated by existing GE Concept Laser M2 Series 5 3D printers.

Key functionalities include:

  • Integration: Must interface directly with the printer's integrated vacuum port and overflow hopper outlet.
  • Automation: Automated powder extraction, transfer to a buffer hopper, and dispensing onto a sieve with controlled feed rate.
  • Components: Includes two vacuum hoses, a powder conveyor system suitable for heavy/reactive metals, and interchangeable sieve sets (75-micron for nickel/aluminum, 63-micron for cobalt chrome).
  • Processing: Capable of sieving under an inert gas atmosphere, featuring dual agitation (ultrasonic and vibratory) and an ultrasonic knocker to prevent powder bridging. Integrated scales for measuring waste and reclaimed powder are required.
  • Safety: Systems for aluminum processing must be explosion-proof (ATEX Zone 20 or equivalent) and all systems require CE or UL certification.
  • Manufacturer Experience: Minimum five years' experience producing comparable systems, with redacted customer references from the past 12 months.

Contract Details

  • Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price.
  • NAICS Code: 332117, with a size standard of 550 employees.
  • Delivery: On or before October 2, 2026, FOB Contractor Destination.

Submission & Evaluation

  • Offer Due Date: June 11, 2026, at 12:00 PM.
  • Evaluation: Award will be made to the responsible Offeror whose offer is most advantageous to the Government, based solely on price.
  • Process: Quotations will be reviewed for completeness, price reasonableness, price realism, and unbalanced pricing. Incomplete quotes will be ineligible. The Government intends to award without interchanges, so vendors should submit their best terms initially.
