  • Animal Care: Comprehensive feeding (maintaining Henneke score 5-7 with specific hay quality), providing land, pens, salt, minerals, and water.
  • Facility Maintenance: Supplying and maintaining fencing (72" high), holding pens, sorting pens, working areas, and covered buildings, with provisions for dust control and manure management.
  • Veterinary & Hoof Care: Providing veterinary services (up to $350/year per animal) including vaccinations, testing, emergency treatment, and issuing health certificates, along with professional hoof trimming.
  • Safety & Training: Developing and implementing a safety plan, and ensuring all personnel complete mandatory CAWP and Euthanasia training annually.

Contract Details

  • Contract Type: Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) task orders.
  • Period of Performance: Five (5) years from contract award (one base year and four 1-year ordering periods).
