Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide wastewater discharge sampling services for the VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS) facilities in accordance with their respective wastewater discharge permits.

• Conduct wastewater sampling for VABHS facilities located in West Roxbury, Brockton, and Jamaica Plain.

• Sampling will adhere to the requirements of each facility's wastewater discharge permit, including parameters and methods specified in the attached facility permits.

• Sampling will continue under an expired permit until a new one is issued.

• All sampling must be conducted by an MWRA-approved sampling technician.

• Samples must be collected and submitted within the timeframes specified by each facility's discharge permit.

• Samples for Jamaica Plain and West Roxbury must be submitted electronically via the Pretreatment Information Management System Web Self-Monitoring Report (Web SMR).

• Electronic copies of analytical reports and chain of custody must be provided for all facilities.

• The contractor must provide the name and location of the MADEP certified or NELAP accredited laboratory used for analysis.
