This includes replacing an existing plating system of approximately 280 sq ft (28' L x 10' W) with a new metal flooring and substructure capable of supporting equipment weighing over 18,000 pounds, such as the LA-1050 Top Loading oven (5,865 lbs). Key tasks involve removal and disposal of existing plating, replacement of any removed conduit/plumbing, and painting the final flooring. All work must comply with stringent industry standards including IBC, AISC, AWS D1.1/D1.1M, ASTM, SSPC, UFC, EM 385-1-1, OSHA, NEC, and NFPA. The project requires AWS D1.1/D1.1M qualified welders and inspectors, and all personnel must be confined space certified. A one-year warranty is also required.
