This opportunity requires the repair and preservation of one 25UB1307 Boat (FAS-33), manufactured by METAL SHARK, LLC. Key tasks include:

  • Preservation: Cleaning, surface preparation (adhering to SSPC standards), and painting of approximately 580 SF of underwater hull, freeboard, cabin, bulwark, main deck, engine guard, tow post safety screen, and deck fittings.
  • Nonskid Installation: Application of new nonskid (peel and stick) deck covering on approximately 220 SF of aluminum alloy boat structure.
  • Fabrication & Installation: Creation and installation of an AFT curtain (48" W x 78" H), a new seat in front of the cabin (re-upholstered), and approximately 55 LF of rubber fender on the hull.
  • Replacements: Installation of new windshield wipers and motors.
  • Specific Requirements: Installation of a new zinc anode (must not be painted). Adherence to "Standard Items (FY26)", "General Arrangement Outboard Profile", MIL-STD-2003B, and MIL-STD-1310H(NAVY).
  • Waste Disposal: Contractor is responsible for industrial waste disposal in accordance with Japanese Law.
