Scope of Work
The contractor will furnish all parts, labor, supervision, tools, equipment, transportation, and incidentals required to restore the existing wastewater aerator motor, gear drive, and bearing assemblies at FCI Oxford. This includes:
- Repair and installation services for the existing aeration equipment (Manufacturer: Magna Rotor, Model: 14" JG Magna Rotor 13, Serial Number: 03115 or approved equal).
- Replacement of the existing 25 HP aerator motor, ensuring suitability for continuous-duty wastewater aeration service.
- Replacement of damaged or worn bearings, repacking, lubrication, and verification of proper seating.
- Inspection and repair of the gear drive, including replacement of worn components, seals, gaskets, and refilling with recommended lubricant.
- Removal and reinstallation of components, precision alignment of motor-to-gear coupling, and securing all components per manufacturer torque requirements.
- Adherence to seismic zone requirements, environmental compliance, Life Safety, NFPA, ADA-ABA, and all Federal, State, and Local codes and regulations. Services and materials must meet current industry standards, Underwriters Laboratories (UL), and the National Electric Code (NEC).
