Scope of Work
The refurbishment and modernization effort for the Fiber Dial Room and connectivity upgrades may include:
- Removal of legacy abandoned communication cables.
- Refurbishment of several Fiber Dial Rooms (structural, environmental improvements, hardware replacement).
- Installation and testing of new fiber and communications.
- Installation and configuration of point-to-point fiber connections.

Evaluation

Additional Notes
- The Davis-Bacon Act applies to contracts exceeding $2,000 for construction, alteration, or repair at INL. Construction work at the INL Site (within the 890-square mile boundary) is also subject to the INL Site Stabilization Agreement (SSA), but work at Idaho Falls facilities is exempt.
- Submittal Requirements: Company name and point of contact, description of relevant fiber installation and refurbishment capabilities/experience, NAICS codes and business size classification, and any existing DOE or federal contracting experience.
