Scope of Work
The contractor will provide, install, and test dedicated, independent fiber optic connections. This includes:
- An underground 6-strand indoor/outdoor armored plenum single-mode (OS2) fiber optic cable, accessories, and installation to Buildings 4 and 12.
- An 18 or 24-strand indoor armored plenum single-mode (OS2) fiber optic cable(s), accessories, and installation from C-Wing Core (Rm. C-125) to the Penthouse.
- Provision of 1U fiber drawers and LC terminations as needed, along with comprehensive project management.
- Fiber must terminate in the same room as the paging/network equipment in each building, and patch panels must be properly labeled.
- Key requirements include firestopping (if using existing or new cores on 2-hour floors), ACM abatement, and OTDR testing with documentation and troubleshooting.
