Scope of Work
NIST requires services for the hydrostatic testing and recharging of approximately 300 5 LB BC CO2 fire extinguishers. The contractor will be responsible for picking up and delivering the completed fire extinguishers to the NIST Gaithersburg, MD Campus. All testing and recharging must strictly adhere to NFPA 10 and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.157 regulations. Services include replacing parts such as seals, O-rings, and pull pins, in addition to recharging the extinguishers.
