Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To ensure the quality and safety of the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument's potable water system through inspection and cleaning of the park's single potable water tank.

• Perform interior and exterior inspections of the potable water tank.

• Clean the interior of the tank, removing sediment.

• Inspect for and document deficiencies related to structural, sanitary, safety, security, and coating conditions.

• Examine tank components including ladders, shell, roof, vent, manways, welds, seams, foundation, anchors, safety systems, hatch, and external overflow.

• Take photographs of all deficiencies and tank appurtenances.

• Visit the site prior to work to assess necessary equipment.

• Ensure tanks, clearwell, and vaults remain as full as possible during inspections.

• Adhere to OSHA regulations for exterior inspections, utilizing fall protection equipment.

• Meet tank inspection requirements of OSHA, EPA, AWWA, and NFPA.

• Submit a detailed written report with photographs, DVD of inspection, corrective recommendations, and cost estimates.

• Report must be signed by registered personnel.

• Submit two paper copies and one electronic copy of the report within one month of completing services.

• Period of Performance: 90 days after award and notice to proceed.

• Location: Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, 15807 Teller County Road 1, Florissant, CO 80816. Access to the tank site requires a four-wheel drive vehicle and coordination with the park's Contracting Officer Representative.
