Evaluation
The Government intends to make multiple fixed-price awards to the offerors providing the lowest price and conforming to all solicitation requirements. Past performance will be used in determining awards and is considered significantly more important than cost or price (FAR 15.304 (c)(5)(e)). The Contracting Officer will verify SAM registration via UEI prior to award.
Submission Instructions
Offerors must submit quotes via email to gvisser@bop.gov by the deadline. Submissions must include a signed page 1 of the RFQ and only the pages on which the vendor is bidding from the attached bid sheet. Bidders must carefully review each line item, paying close attention to container size, description, and units of issue. Specific details such as actual IMPS, average roast weight, type of can or pouch, case size, and pack must be indicated on the bid. Quotes received after the deadline will not be considered.
Additional Notes
Individual credit card orders will be issued for orders under $15,000, and purchase orders for orders over $15,000. Any deliveries not made within 4 weeks of award will be canceled and awarded to the next lowest bidder. Non-conforming items will be refused and shipped back at the vendor's expense.
