Statement of Work (SOW)

To procure an inspection and overhaul of the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station San Francisco's current flatbed salvage trailer. The trailer is used for recovering aircraft when flight is not possible.

• Inspection and overhaul of the flatbed salvage trailer.

• Bids must include projected labor, travel, and any freight shipping costs if the trailer is moved off-site for repair.

• New tires

• Axle inspection and repair/replacement

• Winch inspection and repair/replacement

• Tow hitch inspection and repair/replacement

• Manufacture and install a new trailer data plate

• Inspect all flooring, jacks, and anchor points for possible repair/replacement

• Reference pictures of the trailer are attached; more can be provided if needed.

• Location: USCG Air Station San Francisco, 1020 North Access Road, San Francisco, CA 94128.

• Delivery Schedule: Within 30 days of contract award.

• Period of Performance: Base period plus potential option years (1-4).

• Security: Contractor will require an escort throughout the service duration. A key personnel list must be provided to the Contracting Officer for approval before entering the facility.

• Site Visit: A no-cost site visit is highly recommended. Coordinate with the solicitation POC.

• Quality of Work: All services are subject to Government inspection. Unsatisfactory work must be redone at the contractor's expense. A 100% quality assurance surveillance method will be used.
