Quick Summary

The Department of the Army, Red River Army Depot (RRAD), is soliciting proposals for the delivery and turnkey installation of seven (7) independent Gantry Bridge/Hoist Systems for a heavy industrial tire shop at Building 345, Texarkana, Texas. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Offers are due May 21st, 2026, at 1:00 PM CST.

Scope of Work

This combined synopsis/solicitation requires the provision and complete turnkey installation of seven (7) new, independent gantry crane systems. Each system must include a 1000 lb. rated pneumatic hoist, designed for heavy industrial tire shop operations. Key requirements include:

  • Seven (7) Gantry Crane Systems: Each with a 1000 lb. pneumatic hoist, capable of manual X-Y movement, and a lift speed of 35-55 ft/min. The term "gantry crane" refers to an "overhead bridge crane with free-standing structure," with enclosed track style runways/bridges being acceptable.
  • Turnkey Installation: Includes off-loading, unpacking, assembly, leveling, securing to foundation, utility connection (pneumatic and electrical), and making systems fully operational. Vendor is responsible for material handling and site assessment, as the building is ground level with no dock.
  • Pneumatic System: Each gantry requires a pneumatic header system with filter, regulator, lubricator, shutoff valve, drip leg, and drain point, along with air hoses and festoon kits. The Government will provide a pneumatic connection point within 20 feet.
  • Design & Compliance: Systems must be free-standing steel structures, with a standard 12-foot height under the bridge. All equipment must be new, current production models, and comply with OSHA, NEC, and all applicable safety, security, and environmental regulations.
  • Documentation: Initial Approval Drawings (CDRL A0001) and Technical/Maintenance/Parts Documentation (CDRL A0002) are required.
