• Order of Precedence: In case of conflict, amendments to the purchase order/contract take precedence, followed by the schedule of supplies, terms and conditions, IRPOD/master procurement specification, invoked STRs, drawings, and specifications.
• Document Revisions: Contractors must comply with specified revisions. Written approval from the Contracting Officer is required for using other revisions.
• Vendor Waivers/Deviations: Requests for delivery date extensions or non-conformance waivers/deviations must include a detailed explanation, justification, and an offer of consideration. Technical data is required for proposed alternate items.
• Quality Assurance: Requirements are detailed in the IRPOD. Contractors must maintain an inspection system acceptable to the Government.
• Packaging: MIL-PRF-23199 and MIL-STD 2073 packaging apply. Specific clarifications are provided for MIL-DTL-24466 green poly bags, particularly concerning cleanliness controls. Fire retardant packaging is no longer required.
