Quick Summary
The Department of the Navy, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), is issuing a Sole Source Solicitation (N00421-26-Q-1102) for a GE Navigation Database Update Service for the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) KC-130J Block 8.1 Upgrade Program. This is a Firm Fixed-Price contract, and quotes are due by March 20, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST.
Purpose & Scope
This requirement is for a subscription-based Navigation Database (NDB) Update Service, critical for ensuring safe worldwide navigation and warfighter readiness for the USMC KC-130J aircraft. The contractor will deliver a loadable software airplane part (LSAP) in an electronic Zip archive every 28 days, adhering to Aeronautical Information Regulation and Control (AIRAC) cycles. The NDB must be formatted for direct download and loading into the Flight Management Computer Systems (FMCS). Data will be compiled from National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) DAFIF 8.1 (for Refueling Tracks) and Jeppesen ARINC 424 (for other record types).
