Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, supervision, and transportation to:
- Demolish the existing salt shed.
- Replace it with a metal Quonset type structure.

- Ensure quality assurance and control throughout the project.
The new structure should be approximately 20'-0" long X 24'-0" high and no more than 16'-0" wide, designed to withstand dead load, snow load, and wind up to 100 MPH. Metal building systems require a minimum 22-gauge metal thickness for roofing and siding, with a minimum five-year manufacturer's warranty.

- The project site is located behind Johnson Hall at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, 15 Mohegan Avenue, New London, CT 06320.
- Contractor personnel will require a Real ID to enter the facility.
- Work hours are Monday through Friday, 0730 to 1600, excluding Federal holidays.
- Drawings and a Technical Exhibit (TE-1) will be provided.
