Statement of Work (SOW)

To continue a relationship with the Georgia Institute of Technology (GIT) to provide Systems Modeling Language (SysML®) training to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) through Fiscal Year (FY) 2026.

• Provide two (2) one-day SysML®101 classes.
• Provide two (2) two-and-a-half-day SysML®201 classes.
• Training dates will be confirmed at least thirty (30) days prior to the course date, with a preference for all four courses to be completed before the end of September 2026.
• Preferred class time is 0800-1600.
• Maximum of twenty (20) participants per class.

SysML®101 (1-day class) to include:

• Model-based engineering (MBE)
• Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Essentials of SysML®, including how to read and understand existing SysML® models.

SysML®201 (2.5-day class) to include:

• Advanced MBE
• Advanced MBSE
• SysML® parametric
• SysML® documentation generation

Additional Requirements:

• Provide all training materials in accordance with CDRL A001.

• Share course evaluations with NSWCDD after completion.

• Provide each participant with the book, "FMS 2015, A Practical Guide to SysML®: The Systems Modeling Language" (CDRL A001).

• Provide computers loaded with the course software for participants.

• Coordinate with the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) to schedule courses.

• Period of Performance: Through Fiscal Year (FY) 2026.

• Location: Training to be provided at one of the following locations:

  • University of Mary Washington, Dahlgren Campus
  • JD's Conference Center, Dahlgren Virginia

• The Government will furnish necessary classroom workspace.

• The Government will coordinate access to the NSWCDD base if JD's Conference Center is used.

• Contractor personnel will be required to travel. Anticipated travel: Two (2) personnel to Dahlgren, Virginia for each course.
