Scope of Work
The contractor will provide a full-service agreement covering inspection, testing, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair for fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, and portable fire extinguishers across various facilities within Natchez National Historical Park, including the Visitor Center, Melrose Estate, and William Johnson House.
Key services include:
- Annual inspection and testing per NFPA 72 (fire alarm) and NFPA 25 (sprinklers).
- Portable fire extinguisher inspection per applicable codes.
- Minimum of four (4) quarterly preventive maintenance visits annually.
- Unlimited on-call service response for trouble conditions, impairments, and component failures.
- Emergency response within 24 hours for life safety issues; non-emergency within 72 hours.
- Troubleshooting, diagnostics, corrective repairs, and replacement of standard serviceable components.
Exclusions typically include major piping repairs, system replacement, capital improvement work, and major panel upgrades unless specifically authorized.
