Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide performance assurance, comprehensive calibration analysis, and reactive service for eight (8) Haas machines and two (2) trunnion rotary table attachments at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Randolph, TX.

• Performance Assurance (PA): Includes major maintenance checks recommended by the machine manufacturer, comprehensive checks of Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic, Coolant, Spindle, and Way Lube systems by factory-trained technicians.

• Calibration: Yearly ball bar calibration to diagnose up to six specific machine positioning errors (servo mismatch, stick-slip errors, backlash, repeatability, scale mismatch, machine geometry) and assess overall machine performance.

• Reactive Service: Unscheduled service and spare parts required for the machines. Includes phone troubleshooting within three days and on-site service call scheduling within one week if necessary.

• Machines Covered: Eight Haas machines (VF-4, VF-7/40, SL-10, VR-11, TM-2P, ST-30Y) and two Haas TR310 trunnion rotary table attachments.

• Contractor must maintain a Quality Control Plan (QCP).

• No more than three deficiencies per machine for Performance Assurance.

• Service reports and ball bar test copies due within one business day of service.

• 95% of reactive service phone troubleshooting completed within three days.

• 95% of reactive service on-site calls scheduled within one week.

• Period of Performance: One (1) Base Year (12 months) plus four (4) 12-month option years.

• Place of Performance: Hangar 74 at JBSA-Randolph, San Antonio, TX.

• Work hours: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays.

• Personnel: Contractor personnel must be Haas certified and factory-trained technicians.

• Security: Contractor personnel require a criminal background check (NCIC-III).

• Government Furnished Property: Not applicable, except for fluids and disposal of used fluids for gearbox oil changes.

• Data Rights: The Government has unlimited rights to all materials produced under this contract.
