- Facility Operation: Management of Hazardous Waste Accumulation Points (HWAPs) and Storage Areas (HWSAs).
- Waste Handling: Collection, characterization, segregation, labeling, packaging, weighing, and recordkeeping.
- Transportation Logistics: "Milk runs" between facilities, requiring ADR certification for public roads, and preparation for DLA contractor pick-up.
- Specialized Services: Pumping contaminated liquids, battery collection, and laboratory packing.
- Regulatory Compliance: Strict adherence to Final Governing Standards (FGS) for Germany, German Federal Law, EU regulations, and international transportation agreements (e.g., ADR).

Key Requirements
The contractor will provide all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, and supervision. Key personnel requirements include:
- Contract Manager: University degree in Environmental Engineering or Science, bilingual (English/German), and minimum three years' experience with German environmental authorities.
