• Certification & Traceability: A Certificate of Compliance is mandatory, requiring quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis traceable to unique markings on the material. Traceability must be maintained through all process operations, including subcontracted work, to the finished component. Electronic signatures on Level I certification documents are accepted under controlled conditions.
• Manufacturing Standards: Internal threads must be cut, not cold-formed, and inspected per FED-STD-H28 series. Welding and brazing must conform to S9074-AR-GIB-010A/278, 0900-LP-001-7000, or S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248, with procedures and qualification data requiring prior approval.
• Configuration Control: Contractors must maintain total equipment baseline configuration. Waivers/Deviations and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for Class I or II changes require Government review and approval.
