Scope of Work

The contractor will perform comprehensive maintenance and repair services, including:

  • Pumping out molten salts (approx. 870°F).
  • Replacing electrodes, fuses, thermocouples, and wiring.
  • Conducting a comprehensive tank inspection (visual, internal, foundation, corrosion/thickness measurement using ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and magnetic flux leakage).
  • Performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to ASNT Level II standards.

  • The Government will provide new salts and dispose of solidified salts.
