Scope of Work
The contractor will perform comprehensive maintenance and repair services, including:
- Pumping out molten salts (approx. 870°F).
- Replacing electrodes, fuses, thermocouples, and wiring.
- Conducting a comprehensive tank inspection (visual, internal, foundation, corrosion/thickness measurement using ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and magnetic flux leakage).
- Performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to ASNT Level II standards.
- Providing Non-Destructive Test Results (CDRL A001) to the Government Technical Point of Contact, Matt Simon.
- The Government will provide new salts and dispose of solidified salts.
- Tank dimensions are L-209", W-61.5", D-90", with a 30,000 lbs salts capacity and 85.37 cubic feet working zone. Inspection may require multiple days.
