Source & Qualification
The Government's current intent is to solicit only a limited number of sources, with ROLLS-ROYCE CORPORATION being the sole known qualified source. A letter request for proposal will be posted. Contract award is contingent upon the product/service, manufacturer, or source meeting qualification requirements per FAR clause 52.209-1 at the time of award. Interested offerors are strongly encouraged to submit Source Approval Requests (SARs) as soon as possible, as the Government is not obligated to delay award for pending SARs. Award will not be withheld awaiting qualification. If competitive responses are received, a revised solicitation including Sections L, M, and first article requirements will be posted. The Government is not using FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) for this solicitation, but interested persons may identify their capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
