This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). The government is procuring a GC3518 Slimline HPGE Detector, IAW the attached Statement of Work. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and no paper copies will be available. The RFQ number is SPMYM326Q5039.

• The primary deliverable is one (1) GC3518 Slimline HPGE Detector.

• The detector includes specific components such as an iPA-11-SL10 Intelligent Preamp, CRYO-PULSE 5 PLUS, CRYOSTAT SLIMLINE LMR-0, CHAMBER COAX LMR-0, STANDARD ALUMINUM ENDCAP, COAX DETECTOR RC COLD PA ASSEMBLY, RCP PREAMP 10 FT. CABLE SET, DETECTOR LIFT, and ISOXCAL (SOCS CHARACTERIZATION).

• The requirement is Brand Name mandatory to Mirion Technologies Inc. due to specific references in NAVSEA Manual 389-0362.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To replace an aging Standard Electrode Germanium Coaxial Detector (HPGe) used by the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) Radiation Health Division for onsite radioisotope analysis. The current detector is unable to cool to the required temperature and is beyond repair.

• Manufacture a new Standard Electrode Germanium Coaxial Detector and a CP-5 Plus Cryo-Pulse Controller.

• Perform an ISOCS Characterization of the new detector.

• Ship the new detector system and the ISOCS Characterization Verification Source (Eu-155, Na-22) to PNSY.

• Model CP-5+ - CP-5 Plus Cryo-Pulse Controller
