Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under Solicitation Number 140P2126Q0066. The National Park Service (NPS) Historic Preservation Training Center requires visually uniform, precision-milled lumber for fabricating and replacing park bench slats. The benches are standardized and require Clear Vertical Grain (CVG) Douglas Fir, milled to exact dimensions and end-trimmed per NPS specifications.

• Material: 9,000 pieces of 2x3 Clear Vertical Grain Douglas Fir, S4S, precision end-trimmed to 52" ±1/32", kiln-dried to ≤15% moisture, with a ¼" eased radius on all four edges. Material must be clean, with square ends, and paper-wrapped in bundles.

• Specifications: Milled to NPS slat specification profile.

• Delivery: 45 days after award of contract to Brentwood Maintenance Facility, 515 New York Avenue NE, Washington, DC 20002. Delivery accepted between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Contractor is responsible for off-loading lumber within a 100' radius of the truck.

• Contract Type: One (1) firm-fixed-price contract.

• Period of Performance: Delivery within 45 days after award.

• Registration: All contractors must be registered in www.SAM.gov to be considered eligible for award.
