Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This Request for Quotation (RFQ) seeks to procure services for identifying roadway design and infrastructure factors that influence Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in mitigating rural roadway departure crashes. The goal is to optimize the safety benefits of ADAS technologies by understanding and improving roadway geometry and infrastructure.

• Task 1: Attend Kick-Off Meeting: Coordinate and facilitate a kick-off meeting, develop a draft work plan, and arrange bi-weekly check-in meetings.

• Task 2: Collect, Extract, Integrate, and Evaluate Roadway Geometric Design Elements and Infrastructure Factors: Conduct a data-driven process to collect and analyze data (geometric design, infrastructure features, crash data, vehicle trajectory) to identify factors affecting RwD avoidance ADAS performance on rural roads. This includes using GIS and image-based extraction, analyzing historical crash data, and conducting a safety analysis.

• Task 3: Develop Technical Report: Prepare a comprehensive technical report, including outlines, drafts, and final versions, along with presentation materials.

• Task 4: Develop Outreach Materials: Create marketing and outreach materials, such as a peer-reviewed journal/conference paper or a webinar.

• Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) purchase order.

• Period of Performance: 30 months (24 months for project completion, 6 months for review).

• Technical Quote: Must include a Technical Approach and a Staffing Approach.

• Price Quote: Must be submitted using the provided Pricing Worksheet.

• Organizational Information: Mandatory business information must be included in the cover email.

• Past Performance: Examples of relevant past experience are required.

• Submission Method: Quotations must be submitted electronically in a SINGLE email, not exceeding 10 Megabytes.
