Scope of Work
This 5-year IDIQ contract requires the supply of:
- Reconditioned Steel Drums:
- 1A2 (Open Top) Drums: 55-gallon, removable head, meeting DOT 49 CFR 178 for Packing Group II. Annual minimum: 1,704; maximum: 3,708.
- 1A1 (Closed Top) Drums: 55-gallon, non-removable head, meeting DOT 49 CFR 178 for Packing Group II. Annual minimum: 350; maximum: 750.
- Drums must undergo cleaning, inspection, repair, and leakproofness testing, and be marked per 49 CFR 178.
- Storage Trailers:
- Three (3) 48' or 53' trailers, clean, registered, insured, and road-ready.
- Each trailer must be capable of storing a minimum of 288 drums.
- Two trailers will be delivered full of unused drums, and one will be empty for used drums.
- Delivery: To Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Hazardous Waste Storage Facility, Building 357, Kittery, ME. Drum replenishment within seven (7) working days of Delivery Order receipt. Trailers delivered Monday-Friday, 0630-1500.
